Jabil and Adani Partner to Build AI Data Center Infrastructure Platform in India
Electronics manufacturer Jabil, a key supplier to Apple, has joined forces with India’s Adani Enterprises to establish an integrated manufacturing platform for AI and data center infrastructure. The partnership comes at a time when global demand for AI-ready hardware is surging, and India is positioning itself as a critical hub for digital infrastructure investment.
The collaboration aims to serve the infrastructure needs of global hyperscalers, colocation providers, and enterprise data centers. According to the companies, the platform will directly address what they described as the “explosive” local and global demand for AI-ready data center hardware. The two firms are currently working on operational frameworks and formal documentation for the partnership, though no financial details have been disclosed.
The announcement aligns with broader industry trends. India’s digital infrastructure sector is expected to see over $50 billion in planned spending across data center, cloud, and AI ecosystems. Adani has separately outlined plans to invest $100 billion in renewable-powered, AI-ready data centers by 2035, making this partnership a strategic component of its long-term growth strategy.
Jabil, which counts Apple among its major customers, raised its annual forecast in February, citing strong demand for infrastructure services driven by AI data centers. The partnership with Adani signals a deepening commitment to capturing value from the expanding AI infrastructure market, particularly in fast-growing regions like India.
