LG Energy Solution to Showcase AI Data Center Power Solutions at ees Europe 2026
As the global race to build artificial intelligence infrastructure intensifies, the demand for reliable, scalable power systems has become a critical bottleneck for data center operators. LG Energy Solution is positioning itself at the center of this shift, unveiling a suite of integrated energy solutions tailored specifically for AI data centers at the upcoming ees Europe 2026 exhibition in Munich, Germany.
The company announced on June 22 that it will participate in the three-day event, which runs from June 23 to 25 at Messe München. Under the theme "Powering the Future of AI," LG Energy Solution plans to showcase its comprehensive product portfolio covering grid-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and battery backup units (BBU)—all critical components for ensuring uninterrupted operations in AI-driven facilities.
Among the key highlights is the "JF2S DC LINK 5.0," a grid-scale ESS solution built with European-made lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells. These cells are manufactured at the company’s Wroclaw plant in Poland, and the entire production chain—from cell manufacturing to system integration—is localized in Poland, ensuring compliance with European battery regulations. The company will also debut the next-generation "JP6 UPS Rack" system, based on LFP technology, and the "Next-generation 2170 BBU," designed to maintain reliable power supply to data centers even during emergency situations.
To further demonstrate its commitment to regulatory transparency, LG Energy Solution will introduce its "Battery Passport" initiative through interactive kiosks at the exhibition. This system digitalizes and tracks the entire lifecycle of battery products, from raw material sourcing to end-of-life management.
An LG Energy Solution representative said, "This exhibition will prove LG Energy Solution's capabilities as a key partner in the power infrastructure for AI data centers. Based on our robust local production capacity in Europe and advanced regulatory compliance, we will continue to create differentiated customer value in the European market."
The move underscores a broader industry trend: as hyperscale AI data centers proliferate, energy storage and backup solutions are evolving from ancillary components to core infrastructure. By integrating local manufacturing with next-generation battery chemistries, LG Energy Solution is aiming to capture a growing share of the European data center power market, which is projected to expand rapidly in the coming years.
