Vultr Selects HPE and NVIDIA for Large-Scale AI Datacenter Expansion
LAS VEGAS — Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) announced on Wednesday that Vultr, the world’s largest privately held hyperscaler, has selected HPE and NVIDIA to deploy large-scale AI datacenter infrastructure aimed at meeting growing enterprise demand for private cloud and AI workloads. The announcement was made at the HPE Discover Las Vegas 2026 conference, underscoring the deepening collaboration between the three companies in the rapidly evolving AI infrastructure market.
As part of its next-generation AI infrastructure, Vultr will deploy NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems integrated by HPE, connected with NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking. The deployments combine HPE’s AI factory capabilities with NVIDIA’s accelerated computing, networking, and software stack to support both model training and inference. The infrastructure will also include rack-scale systems powered by NVIDIA accelerated computing and high-performance networking technologies, along with HPE’s liquid cooling technology and services.
“HPE, Vultr, and NVIDIA are building AI infrastructure designed for the future of AI and the agentic enterprise,” said Antonio Neri, president and CEO of HPE. J.J. Kardwell, CEO of Vultr, added, “As a powerful extension of our global cloud infrastructure platform, Vultr is deploying dedicated AI infrastructure focused on GPU architecture and AI inference to accelerate customer innovation while maintaining cost efficiency.”
The deployments will feature NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking with 400GbE and 800GbE interconnects, optical transceivers, and NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet switches and SuperNICs. HPE will provide AI services, deployment expertise, and lifecycle support for the infrastructure. The partnership reflects strong market confidence in HPE’s AI infrastructure strategy, with 17 analysts recently revising their earnings estimates upward. HPE shares have surged 178% over the past year, trading at $50.04 with a market capitalization of $66.34 billion.
The collaboration marks a significant step for Vultr as it expands its GPU-as-a-service capabilities to power enterprise AI and private cloud deployments across its global network. By combining HPE’s system integration and cooling expertise with NVIDIA’s accelerated computing and networking, the initiative is expected to provide enterprises with dedicated, cost-efficient AI infrastructure optimized for inference workloads. The move also highlights the growing trend among cloud providers to invest in specialized, high-performance AI datacenters as demand for generative AI and agentic AI applications continues to accelerate across industries.
