Recently,the first 5G base station was installed ancd officially launched in Fuling District of Chongqing,meanwhile,centering on intelligent river chief system and based on 5G technology,the intelligent unmanned patrol ship was applied here for the first time in China.
In July this year,China Mobile Chongqiang Branch,Huawei and IoT division of China Mobile jointed inked cooperation with Fuling District Government to set up a 5G R&D center.After that,China Mobile Chongqing Branch took Fuling District into its first 5G construction trial sites,and the above mentioned 5G base station launched is the first one located outside the main urban area of Chongqing.
With the completion of 5G trial network here,Fuling District will start key technology verification,optimization and exploration and incubation of business mode related to the crucial and typical 5G application scenarios in the aspects of Industrial Internet,Intelligent network connecting vehicle and intelligent tourism,so as to forge and build up the 5G application demonstration.
