China Telecom launched its cloud computing center in Chongqing

IDCNOVA news:June 13,2019,the first stage of China Telecom Liangjiang Tenglong Data Center(aka Liangjiang data center)was opened into operation in Chongqing.On the same day,the first stage started construction and will be available in the end of this year as the planning.

Designed for Tencent,the first stage of this site costs 700 million yuan and will hold 2,200 high density racks,constructed by MDC mode,supported by dual connector and dual routing.


The second stage will occupy 24,666 square meters with 38,000 of floor space,installing 4,500 racks,and the investment will reach by 1.3 billion yuan.

Inside the China Unicom Liangjiang Tenglong Data Center


By far,the cloud computing industrial park in Liangjiang New Area of Chongqing,located in the southwest China,has converged data centers established by Tencent,Inspur,GDS,Tenglong,China Unicom,China Telecom,China Mobile and so on,the total investment is 36.7 billion yuan and 75,700 racks holding 1 million servers,will become one of the largest cloud computing industrial parks in west China.
