Chinese tech giant JD.com to invest 3b RMB for cloud computing and big data in Southeastern China’s Beihai City

Recently,the signing ceremony of JD.com project(Beihai)was held in Nanning,the capital of Southeastern China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.Beihai Municipal Government signed a project cooperation agreement with China Electronics Beihai Industrial Park Development Co.,Ltd.and JD.com.JD.com group will invest about 3 billion yuan to build a cloud computing and big data industrial base in Beihai.


According to the agreement,JD.com will invest about 3 billion yuan in Beihai to build up the JD.com cloud(ASEAN)cloud computing industry base,the JD.com cloud(ASEAN)cloud computing and big data center,the Beibu Gulf digital economy demonstration center,the Beihai industry innovation center,a data center with 1000 cabinets,to provide various services of cloud computing,big data,business operation support,industry innovation incubation,industrial ecological cultivation,industrial promotion and others for Beihai.


It is reported that the reason why JD.com chose Beihai is not only attracted by its increasingly optimized business environment,but also because that Beihai has a good foundation of electronic information industry.From 2009 to 2017,the output value of Beihai electronic information industry grew by 44%annually,with a strong development momentum.
