The second phase of Ulanqab Cloud Base, in accordance with the A-level design and construction of GB 50174-2017, plans to construct two data center buildings at the same time, with a construction area of about 50,000 square meters, the number of racks that can accommodate more than 5000R, and the design power of 4.4-8.8kw, Which can satisfy users' in-depth customization of computer room module layout and infrastructure configuration. From the aspects of computer room consultation, planning, construction, delivery, operation and maintenance, operation, etc., it provides a full life cycle computer room delivery capability.

 

In terms of the scenario position, the second phase of the Ulanqab Cloud Base will continue to closely follow the national strategy of "Eastern Data and Western Calculation", and through the technical integration of geographical resource advantages and UCloud Software Definition Center, it will help medium and large enterprises to build large-scale hybrid clouds. In the architecture, cost reduction and efficiency increase are realized.

 

Helping "Eastern Data and Western Calculation" to deepen the scene and create a large-scale hybrid cloud

In May 2021, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Central Cyberspace Administration of China, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), and the National Energy Administration jointly issued the "National Integrated Big Data Center Collaborative Innovation System Computing Hub Implementation Plan." According to this plan, my country will lay out the construction of the national hub node of the national integrated computing power network and develop data center clusters. The Ulanqab Cloud Computing Center in Inner Mongolia, which will be built in the first phase, is positioned as a "back factory”. With superior geographical location, safety and stability, low electricity prices, and low-temperature natural cooling, it is more suitable for users who have low requirements for location and network delay, are more sensitive to cost control, and have high requirements for expansion, data calculation, and data storage.

For the Ulanqab Cloud Computing Center, in the typical application scenarios of data storage and big data computing, it has the advantages of large-scale hybrid cloud deployment and integrated operation. UCloud launched a hybrid cloud solution for cold data storage and big data offline computing. The solution can save enterprises nearly 50% of IT costs.
