Meta Breaks Ground on $1 Billion AI Data Center in Oklahoma

In a significant expansion of its computational infrastructure, Meta Platforms Inc. has commenced construction on a major artificial intelligence data center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with an investment exceeding $1 billion. The new facility, Meta's first in Oklahoma, will span more than 2 million square feet at the Fair Oaks Innovation Park. U.S.-based Fortis Construction has been appointed as the general contractor for the project.
