Alerify and Zadara Forge Partnership to Launch Sovereign AI Cloud in Pennsylvania
January 31, 2026
As demand for secure, localized artificial intelligence infrastructure surges, a new partnership aims to deliver sovereign AI cloud capabilities to businesses in the Northeastern United States. Pennsylvania-based data center operator Alerify has announced a strategic alliance with distributed AI cloud provider Zadara to deploy a dedicated AI Edge platform within Alerify's Harrisburg facility. The collaboration will see Alerify integrate its existing data center infrastructure and cloud platform with Zadara's private, sovereign AI cloud solution, which is built on Nvidia GPU technology. The combined offering is designed to provide enterprises with high-performance AI compute resources that ensure data remains private, local, and compliant with regional regulations. The platform will be hosted at Alerify's Tier III-standard data center located at 2330 Vartan Way in Harrisburg, a two-story, 68,830-square-foot facility the company acquired in August 2024. In statements underscoring the strategic rationale, Alerify's founder and CEO, Andy Kochanowski, said, "We chose Zadara because our clients deserve AI solutions that are private, secure, and designed around their business. Together, we’re going to give businesses access to the power of AI while ensuring their data stays private, local, secure, and compliant." Zadara's CEO, Yoram Novick, added, "By combining Zadara’s sovereign AI cloud with Alerify’s innovative AI Edge platform, we’re giving our joint customers a secure and scalable foundation to accelerate their AI strategies on their terms and under their control." The partnership marks a continued expansion for Zadara, a provider with a network of over 500 edge locations globally, which recently announced a similar sovereign cloud initiative in Australia and New Zealand. For the regional market, the deal signals a growing availability of specialized, sovereign AI infrastructure outside of major hyperscale cloud regions, potentially accelerating AI adoption among government entities, healthcare providers, and financial institutions with stringent data sovereignty requirements.
