Accenture and Palantir to support UK AI group’s data centre rollout

Sovereign AI Partners with US Giants to Build Next-Generation AI Infrastructure

January 26, 2026

In a significant move to address the critical shortage of specialized computing power, UK-based AI infrastructure firm Sovereign AI has announced a strategic partnership with American technology consultancies Accenture and Palantir. The collaboration aims to accelerate the construction and scaling of a new generation of AI-optimized data centers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The initiative underscores the growing recognition of advanced AI infrastructure as a cornerstone for both industrial competitiveness and national security.

The partnership will see Accenture and Palantir provide integrated services to support Sovereign AI's ambitious rollout. The core of the initiative involves building and managing hyperscale data centers specifically designed for AI workloads. These facilities will be powered by NVIDIA's AI computing infrastructure and integrated through the Dell AI Factory framework, forming a comprehensive stack for enterprise AI deployment.

Bradd Lewis, Chief Executive of Sovereign AI, stated the company's commitment to "building the next generation industrial base for AI." He emphasized that by "investing in robust, scalable data centres in the UK and EMEA," the company aims to future-proof its customers for the demands of the global digital economy. Lewis framed the collaboration with Accenture and Palantir as a transformative step to lead the next wave of enterprise AI, supported by resilient infrastructure for critical sectors.

Bryan E. Rich, Senior Managing Director at Accenture, highlighted the broader strategic implications. "This collaboration will forge a new model for managing the expansion of safe, secure and resilient AI infrastructure," he said, pointing to the growing need to address both national and economic security concerns across key markets. He added that the partnership aims to set a new standard for AI infrastructure, potentially positioning the EMEA region at the forefront of industrial innovation.

The deal signals a major push to expand regional capacity for AI compute, which has become a scarce and strategically vital resource. By leveraging the combined expertise of a global systems integrator like Accenture and a specialist in data integration and analytics like Palantir, Sovereign AI seeks to establish a scalable, secure, and sovereign-controlled foundation for AI development and deployment across the region.
