E2E Networks Bolsters India's AI Ambitions with Major Nvidia B200 GPU Cluster Deployment in Chennai
January 12, 2026
In a significant move to address the soaring demand for high-performance computing in India's rapidly growing artificial intelligence sector, cloud and AI infrastructure provider E2E Networks has announced the acquisition of a large-scale Nvidia B200 GPU cluster for deployment in its Chennai data center. This procurement represents a substantial investment in domestic AI infrastructure, aiming to reduce reliance on foreign cloud services and empower local enterprises and researchers.
The company confirmed the acquisition of a cluster comprising 1,024 of Nvidia's latest-generation B200 Tensor Core GPUs, backed by 184 terabytes of GPU memory. The hardware is slated for installation at E2E's facility in Chennai, a key technology hub in southern India. This deployment is part of E2E's strategic expansion following a major $157.4 million investment from Indian conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T) in late 2024, which secured L&T a 21 percent stake in the cloud provider and involved plans for deeper integration of their data center services.
Tarun Dua, founder and managing director of E2E Cloud, framed the investment as a cornerstone of the company's national strategy. "E2E Cloud’s investment in Nvidia B200 GPU clusters underscores our commitment to building India’s most advanced AI infrastructure," Dua stated. "By strategically deploying these clusters in Chennai, we aim to make next-generation AI computing more accessible, efficient, and locally available to Indian enterprises, researchers, and innovators."
Founded in 2009, E2E Networks has been offering GPU cloud services in India since 2018 and serves major clients including Zomato and CarDekho. The new B200 cluster significantly upgrades its existing portfolio, which already features Nvidia A100, H100, and H200 GPUs accessible via its TIR AI platform.
The deployment signals a competitive intensification in India's cloud and AI infrastructure market, positioning E2E as a key domestic alternative to global hyperscalers. It is expected to accelerate AI model development and inference workloads for Indian startups, academic institutions, and corporations, potentially catalyzing further innovation and investment within the country's digital economy.
