ZincFive Raises $30M to Power AI Data Center Expansion

The funding round was supported by a consortium of climate and industrial investors, including Helios Climate Ventures, Climate Investment (CI), Japan Energy Fund, General Ventures, and Clear Creek Investments. The capital injection is strategically timed to meet accelerating demand, particularly for the company's recently launched BC Series AI cabinet, engineered specifically for AI workloads. ZincFive reports a significant commercial footprint, with nearly 2 gigawatts of its nickel-zinc battery backup cabinets already deployed or under contract across the global data center industry. The company is now scaling production to fulfill a growing pipeline of orders from hyperscale cloud providers and data center operators.
