DALLAS – October 30, 2025 – Prime Data Centers, a leading international developer and operator of hyperscale data centers, today announced the appointment of two veteran executives to its leadership team. Donncha Ó Tuama joins the company as Chief Legal Officer and Michael Hildebrand as Senior Vice President of Product Delivery for North America.
According to the company, the new hires are positioned to shape Prime’s next phase of growth, driving innovation and project execution across its expanding global portfolio. Prime, which was founded in California in 2017 and previously headquartered in San Francisco, established its new corporate headquarters in Dallas.
“Prime is scaling rapidly to meet the demands of an AI-driven world,” said Founder and CEO Nicholas Laag in a statement. “Donncha and Michael bring deep experience and proven leadership that will strengthen our ability to grow and continue building the infrastructure that enables our customers to innovate without limits.”
Ó Tuama brings over 15 years of international legal experience to Prime, having managed legal, commercial, and risk strategy for hyperscale data center projects across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and Asia-Pacific (APAC). His track record includes the delivery of over 500 megawatts of critical IT capacity and the securing of a development pipeline exceeding one gigawatt.
His expertise spans the entire data center lifecycle, from land acquisition and power procurement to leasing, financing, construction, and facilities management. Prior to joining Prime, Ó Tuama served as General Counsel at Yondr Group, where he led legal efforts for hyperscale developments and oversaw the company’s $5.8 billion sale to Digital Bridge. His career also includes more than a decade at top-tier law firms in the United States and Europe.
In his new role, Ó Tuama will lead Prime’s global legal and compliance strategy. “The opportunity to join a leadership team that combines entrepreneurial agility, solution-based thinking and operational rigor was what drew me to Prime,” Ó Tuama said. “My priority is to build the legal and commercial frameworks that allow Prime to move decisively, manage risk effectively, and deliver next-generation data center solutions.”
Michael Hildebrand joins Prime with more than 35 years of experience in manufacturing operations and large-scale project delivery. He previously held senior roles at Tesla, where he oversaw the design and construction of the advanced Nevada Semi Assembly factory, and at pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly, where he managed global capital construction programs for highly technical drug manufacturing facilities.
At Prime, Hildebrand will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of the company’s data center projects in North America, from design through delivery, with a focus on consistency, sustainability, and quality.
“Having led complex builds in advanced manufacturing environments, I understand what it takes to deliver mission-critical facilities on time and to exacting standards,” Hildebrand stated. “I look forward to applying that discipline to Prime’s growing portfolio and ensuring every project meets the reliability and performance expectations our customers demand.”
