Halliburton, VoltaGrid Partner to Power Data Centers with Lower-Emission Solutions

October 22, 2025

Halliburton Energy Services Inc. and VoltaGrid LLC have entered into a collaboration to deliver power solutions for data centers, the U.S. companies announced in a joint statement.

Under the agreement, the companies will combine their complementary strengths to “develop, deploy and operate advanced, efficient and sustainable power generation systems utilizing turbines, reciprocating engines and VoltaGrid’s proprietary QPac platform.” The partnership aims to meet growing demand for reliable, lower-emission energy infrastructure amid rapid digital expansion.

Halliburton will contribute its global operational footprint and regional expertise, while VoltaGrid will provide proprietary engineering and technology innovation. Together, they plan to offer turnkey distributed power solutions tailored to regional data centers, enabling VoltaGrid’s existing data center customers to access Halliburton’s global execution capabilities.

The collaboration initially targets the Middle East, with a focus on key emerging markets.

This follows VoltaGrid’s recent agreement with Oracle Corp., announced October 15, to deploy 2.3 gigawatts of ultra-low-emissions power infrastructure—supplied by Energy Transfer’s pipeline network—for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s AI data centers. The power will be delivered via VoltaGrid’s modular platform, developed with suppliers including INNIO Jenbacher and ABB.

Mahesh Thiagarajan, OCI executive vice president, stated, “AI workloads are uniquely power-intensive and highly variable, often creating swings in demand. By collaborating with VoltaGrid, we're engineering innovations that dampen these swings, making AI's power usage more stable, predictable and grid-friendly.”

Earlier this year, VoltaGrid also partnered with Vantage Data Centers to deploy over 1 GW of generation capacity across North America using its gas microgrid technology. A February 11 joint statement noted the collaboration aims to set “a new benchmark for speed, reliability and energy access” without straining grid systems.

VoltaGrid’s emission control solutions are expected to accelerate project permitting. The technology can utilize 100% hydrogen or renewable natural gas where viable and offers carbon offsets for net-zero solutions.
