Adds high-density hall at Indy Telcom Center campus
Netrality Data Centers has launched a new data hall in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The company this week announced the completion of a high-density data hall expansion at the Indy Telcom Center campus.
The newly commissioned data hall delivers 1MW of capacity across 3,800 sq ft (353 sqm), and can offer densities up to 30kW per cabinet using Aligned’s Delta Cube3 cooling technology.
It forms "part of our broader strategy to enhance and expand the Indy Telcom Center since our acquisition," said Gerald M. Marshall, president and CEO of Netrality Data Centers. Marshall said: "Our ongoing campus investments, including significant infrastructure upgrades to buildings like 701 West Henry, are a testament to our commitment to providing cutting-edge and sustainable data center solutions.
"These enhancements are designed to meet the growing demands of the digital economy and ensure our clients receive the most reliable, scalable, and efficient colocation and interconnection solutions available."
The completion of the newest data hall has been facilitated in part by a recent $380 million sustainability-linked loan.
Netrality Data Centers acquired Indy Telcom Center, a carrier hotel provider in Indianapolis, in July 2021. It subsequently acquired 365 Data Centers’ facility on the campus in April 2022 and took over the Lifeline facility at the site in January 2023.
The nine-acre campus on West Henry Street houses 205,000 sq ft (19,000 sqm) across 11 buildings dedicated to both wholesale and powered shell tenants as well as fiber customers. DataBank also has a facility on the campus. The site totals 40 on-net providers.
Counting Macquarie Asset Management as an investor, Netrality’s 18 properties span 3.3 million sq ft (306,580 sqm) and over 100MW of capacity in North America.
