Dr. Peng's Big Data Chiwan Cloud Computing Service Center was launched – 2,305 billion investment + over 10,000 cabinets


It covers an area of 26.94 mu, with a construction area of about 44,000 square meters. The overall project is constructed in accordance with the international Uptime Tier III+ and national A-level standards, and the overall plan is to accommodate 10,042 cabinets.

 

On the morning of April 8, a centralized launch event for new construction projects in the second quarter of 2022 in Shenzhen was held. As a digital infrastructure for the layout of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Dr. Peng Big Data Chiwan Cloud Computing Service Center appeared at the event as a key project. The total planned investment of Chiwan Cloud Computing Service Center is 2.305 billion yuan, of which 1.345 billion yuan is planned for the first phase and 960 million yuan is planned for the second phase.

Dr. Peng Big Data Chiwan Cloud Computing Service Center project is located in an independent park at the intersection of Chiwan 7th Road and Chiwan 2nd Road (No. 2, Chiwan 7th Road), Nanshan District, Shenzhen, covering an area of 26.94 acres and a building area of about 44,000 square meters. The overall project is constructed in accordance with the international Uptime Tier III+ and national A-level standards, and the overall plan is to accommodate 10,042 cabinets. After the project is put into operation, it can form a cluster ring network with Dr. Peng's big data data centers in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Foshan and other places in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to help the development of the digital economy in the Greater Bay Area.

It is understood that the construction of the Chiwan Cloud Computing Service Center has been supported by China Aviation Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Telecom Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd. At the IDCC2021 conference held in December 2021, the Chiwan Cloud Computing Service Center emerged as a benchmark project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

 

In addition, the Chiwan Cloud Computing Service Center is constantly striving to explore green and low carbon. The project adopts advanced technologies such as intelligent integrated power module, fluorine pump natural cooling air conditioning system, heat pipe evaporative cooling multi-connected air conditioning system, intelligent busbar, BIPV photovoltaic building integration and other advanced technologies to maximize energy saving and consumption reduction, the annual design PUE is within 1.25, and the construction is shortened cycle, improve the rate of out-of-the-box, and improve the efficiency of operation and maintenance.

After the completion of the project, it will provide support for the implementation of the national strategy of "East and West" in the Greater Bay Area, and at the same time provide a centralized data bearing place for the vast number of government and enterprise customers, and promote the effective connection of big data resources and technologies with the actual needs of society. In addition, the project will also drive related industries, become a computing power hub that contributes significantly to the economy of the Greater Bay Area and the cornerstone of the new growth of the big data industry.

Nanshan District has a total of 36 newly started projects in this centralized launch activity, with a total investment of about 18.84 billion yuan, and a planned investment of about 4.33 billion yuan in 2022.
