Thailand’s Konvy Secures $22M Series B Led by Cool Japan Fund to Expand Across Southeast Asia
Konvy Pte. Ltd., a Thailand-based omnichannel beauty and personal care platform, has announced the closing of a $22 million Series B funding round led by Cool Japan Fund Inc. (CJF), signaling a strategic push to deepen its regional footprint and strengthen ties with Japanese beauty brands.
The round also saw continued support from existing investor Insignia Ventures Partners, according to a company statement. The fresh capital will be used to accelerate Konvy’s expansion across Southeast Asia, scale its private label brands, and reinforce its role as a leading gateway for international beauty and lifestyle products in the region.
Konvy has established a dominant position in Thailand, where it currently offers over 20,000 products from more than 1,000 brands across e-commerce, marketplaces, social commerce, and offline retail channels. Building on that foundation, the company is now extending its operations into the Philippines and Malaysia, leveraging a proven omnichannel model that integrates marketplace partnerships, social commerce, and localized marketing strategies. These markets present significant growth opportunities, fueled by rising middle-class consumption and increasing demand for curated, high-quality beauty products.
With CJF’s strategic backing, Konvy aims to further strengthen its capabilities in curating, localizing, and scaling Japanese beauty and health brands for Southeast Asian consumers. The partnership combines Konvy’s deep local market expertise and distribution network with CJF’s strategic support, positioning the company to accelerate the growth of Japanese brands in an increasingly competitive regional landscape.
In parallel, Konvy continues to deepen its collaborations with leading regional and global beauty brands through exclusive distribution agreements. By leveraging proprietary consumer insights, an omnichannel distribution network, and localized marketing capabilities, the company enables partner brands to scale efficiently across Southeast Asia while enhancing brand equity and consumer engagement in each market.
“Closing our Series B marks an important milestone for Konvy. We have built a strong leadership position in Thailand, and we are now focused on scaling that success across Southeast Asia,” said Qinggui Huang, Group Chief Executive Officer of Konvy. “With CJF as our lead partner, we are uniquely positioned to bring high-quality Japanese brands to the region while continuing to grow our own portfolio of private label products.”
