Chen stressed the strategic chance of 5G trial in Shanghai to promote the innovation demonstration and service adoption,pushing the Yangtze River Delta initiative.
As the only strategic point for 5G deployment by the top Chinese fundamental telecommunication operators,Shanghai successfully made the first video call based on 5G network and Gbps family broadband during International Import Expo 2018.
To enhance 5G implementation,Shanghai Municipal Government initiated to launch 10,000 5G base stations by the end of 2020.
