It’s reported that the cost of 5G chipset module and materials are around 300-400 yuan,thus 500 yuan addition ensures no loss and it depends on the each manufacturer’s cost control regarding how much profit earned.
As for this view,Lei Jun,CEO and founder of Xiaomi said,500 yuan is not enough,plus patent and VAT and so on,it’ll be at least 700 yuan additional costed.
