Tencent to set up data center for China Telecom in Guangdong Province

Dec 10,IDCNOVA news:China’s tech giant Tencent will build up and operate several data centers for China Telecom,Guangdong Branch.


This cooperation follows similar agreement between Tencent and China Telecom Chongqing Branch,and the target of Tencent is to lift PUE up 30%for data centers utilized by China Telecom Guangdong Branch.

A senior official from China Telecom,Guangdong Branch said that,they can make use of T-Nebula and relevant intelligent products and advanced management experiences to further expand the operation,quality and efficiency of data center as well as to fulfill the utmost values in the coming several years.


It’s not clear currently how many data centers that Tencent will construct,but it already determined their location as key deployment,and are aimed to deal with the increased workload after 5G consumption internet.Meanwhile,it will help to establish a stable,intelligent and enormous data center in the industrial era.
