November 16, 2023 - Spanish construction firm ACS Group is to build a data center in Madrid.

The company this week announced it had acquired a 6.7-hectare parcel of land in the Alcalá de Henares area of the capital.

ACS said the site has a 50MW supply of energy, and the data center will begin operations in 2025.

The land acquisition was done through ACS subsidiary Iridium Infrastructure from Acarno Partners.
