The Photovoltaic Power Generation Project of China Telecom Anhui Intelligent Computing Center has Achieved Initial Results

In early September, the first phase of the distributed photovoltaic power generation project of China Telecom Anhui Intelligent Computing Center was officially connected to the grid. So far, the project has been in operation for one month, and achieved phased results: 33,600 kWh of electricity has been generated, electricity costs have been saved by 23,500 yuan, standard coal has been saved by about 10.75 tons, and carbon dioxide emissions have been reduced by about 17.4 tons. An important step has been taken in construction.

 

 

The construction area of photovoltaic crystal panels on the roof of the machine building of the project reaches more than 1,000 square meters. The installed capacity of the project is 185 kilowatts. The design service life is 25 years, annual power generation reaches 190,000 kWh. It is expected to save 140,000 yuan in electricity bills annually, which is equivalent to saving about 63.68 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 115.62 tons per year.

 

In addition, China Telecom Anhui Company earnestly fulfilled its responsibilities as a state-owned enterprise and actively purchased green power energy. In 2022, the proportion of green power usage in Anhui Smart Computing Center will reach 40%, helping to achieve the goal of "carbon neutrality and carbon peaking" with practical actions.
