UN global big data platform launched in Hangzhou City

The United Nations Global Platform for Big Data China Hub (UNBDC) was officially launched in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang Province, on Dec 7.

The UNBDC is set to promote the application of big data and data science to official statistics and sustainable development goal indicators (SDGS) projects, to share information, and to provide training mainly to the official statistics community in the Asia-Pacific region.
