Chongqing to establish data campus, boosting smart city

IDCNOVA news:Jan 29,2018,Chongqing is planning and building up a data campus in its southern Banan District to form up a data center cluster.


The data campus is underway the first stage,completing 70,000 square meters’floor area and attracting 38 projects signed as well as 100 enterprises registered.


According to the relevant government official,this data campus will influence and effect the southern area of Chongqing and the nearby for the industrial upgrading,it will not only meet the demand to develop pillar and strategic emerging industries,but also support the corporate digitalization as well as the integration between industrialization and informatization.It is also meaningful to the restructuring and shifting as well as the cloud computing development to boost smart city.
