Edged US has marked a significant construction milestone at its Council Bluffs, Iowa data center campus, celebrating the topping out of OMA01-1 and OMA01-2. The achievement signals the completion of the structural framework for the two facilities and represents meaningful progress toward the delivery of the company's planned 200 MW campus in the Omaha-Council Bluffs technology corridor.

The topping out ceremony brought together leaders from Edged US, Turner Construction Company, Jacobs, local stakeholders, trade partners, and project team members to recognize the collaborative effort required to reach this stage of development. The event underscored the scale of the undertaking and the coordination among contractors, utility partners, and community stakeholders needed to advance a project of this magnitude.

"Reaching this milestone reflects our continued commitment to investing in communities that are positioned for long-term growth," said Bryant Farland, Chief Executive Officer of Edged US. "Council Bluffs offers the infrastructure, workforce, and business environment needed to support large-scale digital infrastructure development, and we're proud to be expanding our presence in the region. This campus represents a significant investment in the local economy and underscores our confidence in the future of the Omaha-Council Bluffs market."

Located within the growing Omaha-Council Bluffs technology corridor, the campus is being developed to meet sustained demand for digital infrastructure while contributing to regional economic growth. During the construction phase, the project supports hundreds of skilled workers and creates opportunities for local contractors, suppliers, and service providers. Once operational, the campus is expected to contribute to the local tax base and support long-term economic development across the region.

"Topping out represents much more than the completion of a building's structure," said Mitch Fonseca, Chief Operating Officer of Edged US. "It's a reflection of the partnership, planning, and hard work that have brought us to this point. We're proud of the progress being made in Council Bluffs and grateful for the teams and community partners helping make this investment possible."

Edged US recognized Turner Construction Company for its leadership in construction and Jacobs for its partnership and expertise throughout the development process. The company also acknowledged the contributions of trade contractors, suppliers, utility partners, and consultants who have helped advance the project safely and efficiently. Safety was a central theme of the event, with project leaders recognizing the commitment of every worker on site in reaching the topping out milestone without incident.

The Council Bluffs campus remains on track as construction progresses toward the next phases of development. Upon completion, the campus will deliver up to 200 MW of capacity, further strengthening the Omaha-Council Bluffs market's position as a key location for digital infrastructure investment. The project reflects a broader trend of data center development expanding into emerging markets across North America, where power availability, land, and workforce considerations are increasingly shaping site selection decisions.
