By: IDCNOVARegion: Europe
Spanish cloud services provider Nunsys Cloud has officially opened a new data center at the Paterna Technology Park in Valencia, marking a key milestone in its five-year expansion plan. The facility, which represents an initial investment of €10 million ($11.4 million), is designed to significantly boost the company’s digital infrastructure capacity in the region.

The newly inaugurated data center underwent a complete renovation over a seven-month period. It now houses 150 racks across 450 square meters (4,845 square feet) and has the capacity to support up to 5,000 servers. This expansion is part of Nunsys Cloud’s broader strategy to strengthen its position as a leading digital infrastructure operator in Spain. The company aims to double its customer base over the next five years, driven by surging demand for cloud services.

Currently serving approximately 1,500 clients, the data center generates annual revenues of nearly €3 million ($3.4 million). With the new infrastructure online, Nunsys Cloud projects that its annual revenue will climb to €10 million ($11.4 million) within the same five-year timeframe. The company attributes this optimistic outlook to the growing reliance on cloud computing and digital transformation across Spanish enterprises.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by officials from the Valencian Regional Government, as well as representatives from the city councils of Paterna and Valencia. These stakeholders emphasized that the project reinforces the Technology Park’s status as one of the country’s most prominent technology hubs. The facility is expected to create further momentum for the local tech ecosystem, attracting additional investment and talent to the region.
