Dell Technologies and Armada Partner on Mobile Edge Data Centers in Saudi Arabia

Dell Technologies and Armada have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly deliver containerized mobile and edge data center solutions across Saudi Arabia, marking a significant step in expanding localized compute infrastructure in the Kingdom.

The agreement was formalized during LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, where Mohamed Talaat, Vice President for Saudi, Egypt, North Africa & Levant at Dell Technologies, and Rabee El Mohammadi, Vice President of Sales and Partnerships for MEA at Armada, signed the framework. The MoU establishes a strategic collaboration aimed at addressing high-demand projects requiring rapid, flexible access to localized compute and storage capabilities.

Under the partnership, Dell's enterprise hardware and modern infrastructure stack will be integrated with Armada's specialized mobile, containerized data center solutions. This combination is expected to deliver high-performance infrastructure for enterprise customers across the Kingdom, bringing processing power closer to data generation points in remote and resource-constrained environments.

The initiative targets key sectors including energy, telecommunications, manufacturing, and public infrastructure. Through Dell's authorized regional channel partner network, the companies plan to extend their reach to enterprise customers, supporting real-time Edge AI applications while strengthening data sovereignty and operational continuity in challenging environments.
